Description:
REQUIREMENTS - OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Educated with a Master Degree, ideally in business law or compliance studies.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience advising on compliance and anti-corruption matters with sound business judgement. Compliance investigators profiles also of interest.
- Strong leadership and communication skills: Ability to build trust and involve other stakeholders appropriately in consultations and decisions. Capacity to brief and work with various stakeholders, including senior management. Ability to resist pressure.
- Strong writing skills required to write and edit reports and memorandums.
- Rigorous, details oriented with a high degree of autonomy, integrity, confidentiality and trust.
- Languages: English (fluent/negotiation level/report drafting); French and/or German is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Performing enhanced Due Diligence reviews of sales transactions, which notably includes i) desktop Due Diligence, ii) conducting interviews and taking minutes, iii) reviewing commercial contractual documentation and relevant E&C, finance, marketing and commercial material, iv) collecting and reviewing data (e.g., finance data, extracts from internal recording tools as well as emails, presentations, …) for analysis, v) report review and drafting.
- Providing strategic advice to the business.
- Ensuring smooth coordination and exchanges among the various teams involved in the process.
- Participating in training, compliance awareness sessions.
- Managing outside legal counsels and forensic experts.
The Compliance Officer will more broadly contribute to other targeted missions related to the workstream.
