Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Third level qualification in a science related discipline, food science, chemistry or equivalent, to Degree Level
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance related position.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in the use word, excel, PowerPoint
  • Full right to work essential

Responsibilities:

  • Document controller for the plants: ensure documents are uploaded to on line document management system in accordance with document control procedure. Provide training on how to create new or revise documents are necessary. Communicate training needs to relevant parties as required.
  • Manage GMP internal self-inspection team for the plants. Train new members of the self-inspection team.
  • Work closely with Operations and Maintenance to drive closure of open items.
  • COA reviewer and approver: review and approve vendor COAs against PepsiCo specifications in a timely manner and report any non-conformances.
  • GMP training: complete GMP training with all new starters and also complete annual GMP refresher training.
  • Communication: provide clear updates on areas of responsibility at site meetings e.g. Food Safety Meetings, Management Reviews etc.
  • Internal audits: complete internal audits as required.
  • Aid compliance manager with audit preparations and readiness (e.g. FSMA, AIB, FSSC ISO 22000, Organic, HSE, Halal, HPRA).
  • Provide cross plant support for counterpart where necessary.
  • Additional - Finance: raise and receipt PO’s.
