Description

Are you passionate about quality of care?
Are you looking to take the next step in your career in care?
We are looking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join our homecare team in the field within the Newark and Sherwood district area.
What is a Compliance Officer?
Based out in the community, our Compliance officers are responsible for both Client & Staff Compliance. You will be visiting service users, welcoming them to Fosse and conducting their care plan assessments/reviews. This includes completing environmental risk assessments, assessing medication management and moving and handling, and liaising with Social Services and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered. You will also be completing staff Competency Assessments out in the community, for both Moving & Handling and Medication administration, Spot Checks and Supervisions.
This role is varied, hands on and fast paced but is extremely rewarding and will provide you with the opportunity to start your career with Fosse.
There may be times you may need to visit and support in other areas/branches.
What skills and qualities does a Compliance Officer need?
The successful candidate will be confident, proactive, approachable and have a keen eye for detail. Our Compliance Officers are the first Fosse representatives our service users meet so empathy, kindness and good listening skills are important for building lasting relationships. Previous experience within care and good computer skills are essential.
This role involves working out in the community, so you must be flexible to travel and hold a driving license, have Business Insurance and have access to your own vehicle.
