JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our operations, particularly within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of compliance regulations, including TILA and GAAS.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in compliance or risk management within the banking sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting principles.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as TILA, GAAS, and COSO.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough internal audits.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to compliance monitoring.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity.

  Pay: $51,633.30 - $85,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Elmhurst, IL 6012

• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to financial concepts and technical accounting standards.
• Prepare reports on compliance status and present findings to senior management.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the banking industry, including COSO frameworks.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Utilize financial software to analyze data and ensure accurate reporting.
