Responsibilities: Establish and maintain Compliance/AML policies, procedures, manuals and controls. Provide regular reporting to senior management, Board and relevant committees. Oversee risk assessments, compliance monitoring and thematic reviews. Act as the main point of contact with regulators and and dealing with the regulators with unwavering integrity and to serve as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Monitor regulatory developments and advise on impact to the business. Manage financial crime risk assessments and support regulatory visits and external audits. Establish monitoring programs to test control effectiveness and identify compliance gaps. Showing collective strength by working with the compliance teams globally and with key stakeholders in the business. Deep knowledge of the end-to-end compliance process, governance, and risk controls. Minimum 8 years of experience within a regulated Financial Institution entity with coverage in Financial Markets products. Has exposure with Middle East compliance regulatory requirements (such as with the Abu Dhabi Financial Services Regulatory Authority). Strong collective strength with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization. Able to manage a team of compliance officers. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced analytical skills and cognitive process. Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members. Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects and portfolios. Indomitable attitude and strong desire to succeed web3/crypto compliance knowledge will be a huge plus.
