Permanent/continuing, full‑time appointment Level 5: $84,002 - $94,998 + 17% superannuation About the Opportunity The University of Wollongong (UOW) is seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to support the University’s Institutional Compliance function within the Legal, Assurance and Integrity Division. This role supports the University meet its legislative, regulatory, policy and information obligations across academic, research, and operational domains. As a first point of contact for compliance enquiries within the Risk, Compliance and Assurance Unit, you will provide administrative and operational support to deliver the compliance management framework. The role will work closely with the Compliance Manager to assist in delivering training initiatives and awareness campaigns that promote a culture of integrity and accountability. Through these responsibilities, the position plays a key part in strengthening regulatory practice and supporting effective compliance management. About You Experience in supporting a compliance or legal services function will truly set you apart, equipping you with the confidence to interpret legislation, communicate compliance requirements with clarity and manage sensitive information with professionalism. Your strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, paired with initiative, sharp attention to detail and a genuine commitment to improving processes, will help strengthen compliance practices across the University.
