WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO BRING

With this great opportunity, we are looking for the right person to join us. You aren’t perfect, and neither are we; however, to guide you as to whether you will thrive with us, here are some specific requirements we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years experience from a compliance position or similar, preferably as an in-house counsel, compliance officer or from a law firm
• Highly interested in compliance and related requirements
• You have a good understanding of processes, identifying and managing the associated risks, and, importantly, the desire to work with such
• You have an analytical and structured approach to solving tasks on your own and with others
• You have effective communication skills and the ability to adjust to a level that suits the target groups with which you are communicating
• Fluent Danish and English speaking and writing
• As a person, you are responsible, diligent, and bring a good mood. You are curious and able to work in a dynamic environment with many versatile tasks and various complexity levels

Minor travel activities will be expected of this role.

• Continuously improve and optimise our group compliance and governance program with our virtues as the basis
• Ensure documentation processes for all group transactions with high compliance risk and implement and monitor control systems concerning compliance with regulatory rules and internal policies
• Perform audits of our customers and suppliers to ensure such follows our group and local requirements within, e.g., code of conduct, human rights, anti-corruption, health and safety and GDPR and perform the required audits from our customers
• Work collaboratively with IT Security, Finance, Sustainability and the Global Legal team to identify and manage risks related to general compliance requirements and regulation and data protection risks
• Make recommendations on improving compliance-related processes and/or procedures related to the relevant departments
• Support the SGL Group within sanctions and embargo requirements
• Create and perform employee training sessions on compliance requirement
