OVERVIEW OF JOB ROLE
To oversee compliance within the company, making sure each practice is compliant up to the standards of the CQC. Ensuring company’s policies and rules are in line with regulatory and ethical standards. Conducting audits and make recommendations that will keep the company from undergoing legal struggles or facing other difficulties due to non-compliance issues. You will be required to travel to sites so access to your own vehicle is required for the role and you will be based in our HO in Crawley.
YOUR MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
· Advisor to Practice Managers on compliance queries and issues
· Mock inspections at practices to ensure sites are compliant
· Monitoring the DCME page for each practice
· Training Managers on compliance and ensuring they are CQC registered Managers
· Identifying compliance violations and data breaches and oversee the corrective actions
· Carrying out relevant audits and risk assessments
· Implementing regulatory changes
· Working alongside HR department collaborating on the monitoring and enforcement of compliance regulations
· To carry out investigations and oversee corrective actions for any compliance violations and /or data breaches identified
· Having meetings and working with CQC to prepare sites ahead of inspections
The role will involve traveling to the practices regularly so having access to your own vehicle is required. Also, it is desirable if you do have your GDC registration.
