Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to manage the smooth administration, reporting, audit and financial claims of our funded learrs. This role is critical in maintaining a high level of accountability and integrity in our educational provision.
The Officer will manage the ILR administration, deal directly with funding bodies, track learner progress, maintain up to date and comprehensive learner files and records, prepare for funding audits, prepare financial claims and deal with funded learner queries and issues.
You’ll need to have 2+ years’ experience of funded training and/or funding compliance, exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and familiarity with CRM and LMS systems.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Educated to degree level or equivalent
· Knowledge of education regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements
· 2+ years’ experience of funded training and/or funding compliance
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent record keeping skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience in ILR uploads
· Familiarity with compliance software and tools.
· Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
· Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £24,500.00-£35,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Bid Development
o Assist the Funded Contracts and Placements Manager in the development of new bids for funded training.
· Compliance Management and Monitoring
o Regularly review, interpret, and stay up-to-date with TRA funding stream regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
o Ensure the wider TRA teams understand the details of TRA’s various funded training contracts (such as eligibility, publicity, deadlines etc)
o Maintain ILR records and undertake monthly ILR upload
o Ensure learners are enrolled on the appropriate systems as required by funding providers and that all aspects of learner administration and record keeping are maintained.
· Learner Recruitment and Milestone Monitoring
o Assist in the learner recruitment process in order to ensure cohorts are maximised and all recruited learners suitable for the course.
o Lead on the evidence gathering for milestone payments.
· Record Keeping and Reporting
o Maintain accurate learner files
o Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies, accreditation agencies, and other relevant authorities.
o Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities, such as audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
· Audits and Assessments:
o Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks. Work with relevant departments to develop and implement corrective action plans.
· Collaboration:
o Collaborate with various stakeholders, to ensure all educational programs and practices align with applicable funding streams.
· Work Placement Coordination
o Working with members to identify work placement opportunities
o Matching learners and graduates with work placement opportunities
o Monitoring Work Placement progression and interviews
o Linking interviews and appointments with Milestone claims
