Now we are looking for a Compliance Project Manager to join our team ideally in our headquarters in Espoo, Finland. Other locations may be considered on a case by case basis. As our Compliance Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our iGaming products meet all regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions. You’ll work closely with the Head of Compliance to manage compliance initiatives while collaborating with teams from both technical and legal backgrounds. Your role will be key in driving the integration of compliance into the development of our platforms and services, ensuring all projects are delivered with the highest standards of regulatory alignment. We work in a hybrid model and hope you can join us at the office twice a week. Salary for this role will be 5000-6000€/month gross. YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL: Lead Compliance Projects: Oversee compliance-focused projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with technical and legal requirements across all platforms, products, and services. Liaison with regulatory bodies on a need basis. Regulatory & Technical Integration: Work alongside product developers, software engineers, and legal teams to integrate regulatory requirements directly into our systems and solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage the interaction between technical teams and compliance/legal teams, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery of compliance deliverables within the scope of each project. Risk Management & Legal Compliance: Identify and assess compliance risks, particularly from a technical standpoint (e.g., data security, system architecture), and help mitigate them. Documentation & Reporting: Ensure proper documentation of compliance project requirements, technical audits, risk assessments, and status updates. Maintain clear and accurate records to ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks. Training & Support: Provide compliance training to technical teams, ensuring that the implementation of compliance standards is understood and followed within development and operational processes. IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF THE MUST-HAVES: Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in Finnish is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience within a regulated industry (ideally iGaming, finance or technology). Solid experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Legal, Compliance, Product). Familiarity with IT systems, data security, system architecture or software development in the context of compliance. Knowledge of JIRA. Deep understanding of iGaming regulations, (including but not limited to SGA, KSA, EMTA, MGA, AML/CFT frameworks). Ability to analyze complex systems or legal frameworks and identify potential compliance risks. Experience with various types of audits, gap assessments and mitigation strategies. Ability to stay current with industry trends and evolving regulations in the iGaming space. Willingness to take on new challenges and proactively suggest improvements in compliance processes.
