Description Role Definition: Develop, manage and market the compliance analyst services to association clients by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Working manager providing supervision and direction to compliance review analyst staff, ensuring that employees are trained in specialized knowledge areas. Communicates overall strategic direction with staff to ensure a shared vision. Exhibits strong management skills and effectively coaches analyst team. Creates an environment which encourages the team to developmentally stretch themselves and assist analyst team in reaching their professional goals. Identifies team strengths to create efficiencies. Oversees the development and improvement of a streamlined audit function including but not limited to the oversight and maintenance of compliance work programs, internal training of analysts, coordination of audit calendars, effective communication with bank clients, assurance of quality and timely reports, and ability to motivate the team to keep them focused on goals and service quality. Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of compliance issues and maintain a current knowledge of regulations with emphasis in the areas of assigned responsibility. Demonstrate a reputation for expertise both internal and external. Effectively train analyst team and provide audit backup to ensure quality and timely deliverables to bank clients. Ability to provide external training of clients when necessary. Manages the budget and billing responsibilities for the analyst team and ensures that all workpapers, summary reports, etc. are properly imaged in a timely fashion. Manages profitable engagements that meet margin expectations. Exhibit excellent business writing skills and ability to review and edit analyst reports in a timely fashion. Assist in developing a strategic direction for the analysts function including but not limited to expansion of services, continued improvement of deliverables, review and development of new products. Assist in preparing a budget that fits within the parameters of the long term strategic plan. Requirements Required Education: Bachelor's degree from four year college or university preferred. Required Work Experience: Minimum five years of compliance and audit or bank management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Management experience or comparable leadership preferred. Technology Skills: Microsoft suite Required Skills or traits for the position: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, law books or treatises. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and staff. Specialized Training/Certifications: CRCM and AAP preferred
