Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Compliance & Risk Manager to shape and oversee compliance frameworks for Bauer Media Audio. This newly created role will manage regulatory and operational risks across audio broadcasting, gaming/SMS competitions, and related commercial activities. Working as part of the newly established RRR function (Risk, Responsibilities & Resilience), you will also work closely with colleagues in Group Legal & Governance, local management teams and the Compliance Partner Network embedded across the audio business. You will ensure adherence to global standards, promote ethical conduct, and help foster a culture of accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support the implementation of all relevant media neutral legislation and group compliance programs across Audio’s nine territories. Also lead the design, development and implementation of relevant audio specific compliance initiatives of strategic importance for broadcasting, SMS competitions/gaming and other commercial activities.
  • Develop and execute compliance initiatives for broadcasting, gaming/SMS competitions, and commercial activities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely compliance.
  • Oversee risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance investigations.
  • Advise on licensing requirements and liaise with regulatory authorities.
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs.
  • Support sustainability compliance and business continuity planning.
  • Facilitate an annual business risk assessment with local management, maintain a risk registers and provide strategic risk insights to leadership.
