JOB SUMMARY: Cornerstone Residential’s Compliance Specialists are detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic. They are knowledgeable about appropriate compliance policies and ensure the timely completion of Tax Credit certifications. CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm COMPENSATION: $26-$28/hour (Position eligible for monthly commissions and Exempt Employee Housing-Fully Compensated 3 bdrm/1.5 bath apartment) ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Processing Affordable Housing rental applications for initial move-in(s) and preparing move-in documents. • Maintain and set up resident files with proper paperwork and supporting documentation. • Process and submits all Tax Credit annual income re-certifications (A/Rs) and all new move-in files on time. • Ensure accurate and timely completion of Tax Credit annual recertifications and move-ins. • Verify income/rental history/assets for all applicants and residents. • Schedules Move-In and Recertification appointments daily. • Process and post annual recertification notices timely. • Ability to organize, establish priorities for work and coordinate multiple deadlines. • Maintain neat, organized files, storage, and workspace. • Ensures regular and predictable attendance. • Perform other duties and assignments as assigned.
