We’re looking for a Compliance Specialist to oversee licensing, safety, and regulatory standards so our teams can work safely and stay ahead of state and federal requirements.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Insight Pest Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Compliance Specialist to oversee our compliance efforts across all six states we serve. This role ensures that our operations strictly adhere to EPA guidelines, Department of Agriculture regulations, and internal safety protocols. You will be responsible for audits, licensing, training, and policy development that support safe and compliant pest control operations—including weed and mosquito programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of compliance experience in pest control or a related, regulated industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of EPA and Department of Agriculture laws and guidelines.
  • Experience managing multi-state compliance programs.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel as needed to other Insight locations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with technician licensing, pesticide safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Background in pest control, environmental services, or EH&S.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage regulatory audits and internal inspections across all locations.
  • Ensure full compliance with EPA, state Departments of Agriculture, and all relevant regulations.
  • Oversee technician licensing and manage recertifications for all applicators.
  • Develop and deliver training on chemical handling, storage, facility laws, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and manage weed and mosquito program compliance across all states.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compliance and safety.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records for inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate necessary adjustments across the company.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure consistent practices across regions.
