Fujitsu is a world-wide leading technology company with operations in countries including the United Kingdom, Germany and several other European countries. Fujitsu Germany GmbH (“FG”) is seeking a Compliance Specialist, Europe to implement corporate compliance program in coordination with other Fujitsu group companies within Europe. The position will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing and implementing the Fujitsu’s corporate compliance program, conducting corporate investigations, primarily for Fujitsu group companies in Europe. The main areas of compliance coverage are anti-bribery/corruption, antitrust and export controls. The role will report to the Head of Compliance, Europe or its then equivalent and will collaborate with Fujitsu’s compliance professionals in other regions as well as with other cross-functional stakeholders to advise company leadership on compliance risk management.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD YOU HAVE?

  • Completed law degree (business law specialization)
  • Demonstrated ability to be pro-active and take a practical risk-based approach to problems,
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple assignments at a time to consistently drive desired results on projects of varied complexity working with staff at all levels,
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Strategic mindset: Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into action items,
  • Unquestioned integrity, credibility and judgment,
  • Willing to travel both domestically and internationally,
  • Appreciation of working within an international organization,Excellent German and English communication and negotiation skills are essential for this position due to the assigned tasks

Responsibilities
  • Enhance and implement compliance policies, procedures, programs, and training, including but not limited to update compliance related policies, review gift and hospitality requests and third party onboarding requests, under guidance from the Head of Compliance
  • Respond to issues raised through compliance reporting systems and conduct compliance investigations in collaboration with other corporate functions, outside counsel, and other service providers as needed, under guidance from the Head of ComplianceDocumentation of all compliance activities and processes
