Pacifica Warranty provides insurance products to its clients which include some of the leading appliance manufacturing and retail brands in the UK. Our fulfilment solutions integrate seamlessly into our clients’ trading platforms, making it easy for them to promote and sell insurance through their existing sales channels.
Our insurance policies protect domestic consumer goods including kitchen appliances, technology, entertainment, and other home related products.
We are looking for a Compliance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting the company in complying with relevant laws and regulatory obligations. This will include compliance with rules arising from the Financial Conduct Authority, the Information Commissioners Office and others as applicable.
All duties to be performed according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Excellent attention to detail
Flexible working approach
Understanding of FCA Compliance
Previous Auditing experience preferred but not essential as training will be given
Competent user of Information Technology
English GCSE Qualification
Key Performance Indicators
Timeliness and accuracy of reports
Timely and accurate delivery of audit reports to colleagues
Compliance metrics in line with objectives
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday

Liaise with the Senior Compliance Manager to:
Monitoring calls completed by agents to ensure FCA compliant. As per Volumes, timescale targets agreed
Ensure that findings are recorded and followed up with management - All details must be logged in the audit master sheet
Report back to UKW Compliance Manager on current compliance performance
Highlight or escalate areas of concern
Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation and its distribution chain
Assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests - Audits/DSAR
Perform various general administrative duties (such as file creation and maintenance of ongoing administrative projects).
