This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will contribute to ABB’s progress by ensuring the availability and reliability of electronic components across their lifecycle. You will work in a global environment, supporting product development and supply chain strategies while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Your skills in component analysis, lifecycle management, and supplier communication will enable innovation and help drive ABB’s success in delivering high-quality solutions. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the global MOHP PCBA lifecycle Management. You will be mainly accountable for: Managing the complete lifecycle of electronic components, including database accuracy and compliance with standards. Executing Last Time Buy (LTB) and consignment stock strategies to ensure component availability and minimize supply risks. Analyzing electronic components using advanced tools to assess obsolescence, alternatives, and risk mitigation. Collaborating globally with EMS suppliers and internal teams to resolve component issues and maintain professional communication. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in electronic components lifecycle management and database handling. Ability to demonstrate your experience in last time buy (LTB)/Consignment stock management. Possess an enhanced knowledge of electronics component analysis tools, such as Silicon experts, etc. You are used to work in a global setup. You are motivated by collaboration and communication within a global setup You are experienced in professional communication with EMS suppliers. You are at ease communicating in English. You hold current work permit for Switzerland.
