We are looking for an on-site Director of Engineering (DoE) to provide strong leadership for technical execution of the Aitech Defense Systems, Inc. (ADSI) Engineering Departments. Component Engineer, III Reporting To: Manager, Systems Engineering Salary Range: $95,000 -$155,000 Primary Responsibilities: Generate, release and maintain the Parts List (Bills of Materials) for Aitech electronic and mechanical products Define and document the electronic component selection process Review and specify tools for BOM maintenance Create and maintain Aitech’s component library Support Aitech design engineering in searching for electronic components, monitoring components for obsolescence, review PCN and GIDEP alerts, and responding to component availability issues Act as liaison between internal Engineering, Operations, Purchasing and Quality Assurance; and external program customers to monitor component status; i.e. component pricing, lead times, and standing inventory Work with Quality Assurance in reviewing and adding vendors to the Aitech Approved Supplier list Provide component engineering support for Aitech’s space products; analyze components to NASA or customer specified component selection process Communicate component engineering status to Aitech Management Lead special Research & Development project activities or investigations within the Electronic Engineering discipline. Requirements Recommended Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in Component Engineering This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
