Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Level 1 Component Specialist to support general services, repairs, and overhauls of components to ensure that they are in good mechanical condition and safe for installation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conduct periodic inspections and general maintenance, repairs, modifications and replacement and assembly of parts.
  • Consult manufacturers’ manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement.
  • Perform assigned component maintenance tasks in accordance with all applicable regulatory authority requirements (DASA, DCMA), Approved Maintenance Data, and company standards and requirements.
  • Maintenance tasks may include, but are not limited to, scheduled and unscheduled inspections, servicing, repairs, maintenance, removal/ installations, modifications and STIs on applicable aircraft systems, components, role equipment or ground support equipment.
  • Ensure all documentation relating to work performed are signed and, where company approved, certified in a timely manner as required by company procedure.
  • Detect and identify defects and assist in drafting appropriate report.
