Description
Analyze BOMs of tools for RoHS, WEEE Compliance Electronic Component Testing Electronic Component Qualification. Electronic Hardware R&D Electronic Hardware Failure Analysis. Electronic Hardware Repairing. Electronic Hardware Testing Electrical Component Qualification (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.) Writing test plans, procedures and creating test setup Testing Electronic Component based on technical attribute as per different test condition. Investigation of test results with different Cross functional team to validate the component operation as per design. Creating reports and presenting findings to management or engineering teams Operating electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to measure voltage, current, resistance, and other parameters. Component Data Management in PLM Tool Performing research and development on new components Analyze Electrical and Electronics components and sub-assemblies for Obsolescence, RoHS and WEEE status. Analyze impact of PCN changes to FFF (Form Fit Function) of the component Alternate component suggestion like drop-in replacements, upgraded versions, RoHS equivalent parts for RoHS Non-Compliant EE parts etc. Understand and adhere strictly to company policies, standards, and procedures. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering 4+ years' experience in an electrical engineering role In depth knowledge about Electronic Component Technical Properties & Application Experience with circuit board assembly and soldering is good to have Working knowledge of EMC standards and electronic compliance Familiarity with IPC standards for electronics manufacturing Circuit simulation knowledge is must and Component modeling is good to have Knowledge of Component Failure modes Component Data Management Good knowledge and understanding of electronic component datasheets Good knowledge of Handling Different Lab Instrument like Oscilloscope, Function, DMM (Digital Multi Meter), Function Generator etc. Basic knowledge of EE component manufacturers Basic knowledge of Environmental Compliance directives RoHS (restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment) Knowledge of Electronic Component Life Cycle trends Knowledge of English with good oral and written communication skills Curious, Quick learner and adaptable to a wide variety of topics / products / business systems Adaptable and dependable Initiative-taker Team worker
