Their work directly supports the building and creation of hardware that enables: Safety of our Warfighters Firefighters and First responders to save lives Aircraft to land Rockets to launch Satellites to Orbit the earth Astronauts to perform research Completing training and enacting all steps required to fabricate and assemble a composite pressure vessel. Preparing/ completing set up of your machine. Mixing and preparing chemicals and resins Loading and unloading ovens Meeting daily output requirements Preforming proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product. Required: Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience US Citizen or Permanent Resident HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathe's, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools are a plus.
