Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history. We are seeking an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join our high-performance Composite Design department . This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland Why Join Us? Your mission Design and develop carbon fiber composite structural components and bodywork parts. Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings in CATIA considering ISO standards. Develop composite layups and support manufacturing process definition. Design laminate tools, bonding and assembly fixtures, and machining fixtures. Collaborate closely with aerodynamics, simulation, structural, and manufacturing teams. Support components throughout the full development cycle, from concept to trackside application. Optimize designs for weight, stiffness, and manufacturability. Your profile Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a comparable qualification. At least two years of professional experience in the design of fiber-reinforced composite components, ideally in motorsport or a comparable high-performance environment. Excellent knowledge of CATIA, preferably CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX). Experience with CATIA Composite Design (CPD) is an advantage. Strong understanding of composite materials, laminate structures, and related manufacturing processes. Knowledge of composite manufacturing and tooling design. Structured, proactive, independent, and responsible working style. Strong teamwork skills and ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic development environment. Good written and spoken English skills. Requirements Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Plastics Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in composite component design, ideally in motorsport or a high-performance environment. Strong CATIA skills, preferably CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE. Experience with CATIA Composite Design (CPD) is an advantage. Good understanding of composite materials, laminate design, tooling, and manufacturing processes. Structured, proactive, and team-oriented working style. Good English communication skills. Preferred Experience in Formula 1, Formula E, WEC, or similar racing series.
