Join us as we look to the future! We are currently accepting applications for an upcoming first shift Composite Technician I need at our Renton location.

Location: Renton
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4am – 2:30pm

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, shop aids, and written instructions with limited supervision.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all safety and quality policies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in composite manufacturing or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to work with complex parts.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.

EXPERIENCE

  • Two to three years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Basic math and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Teams)

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare composite components for assembly.
  • Manufacture composite components using layup and bladder molding practices.
  • Perform repairs on composite components.
  • Arrange molds and tooling for composite production.
  • Inspect and test composite components for defects.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot composite assembly equipment.
  • Maintain accurate record of composite and assembly activities.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for composite and assembly.
  • Prepare molds and dies.
