WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Minimum HBO in Material, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Demonstrable experience in composite manufacturing
  • Excellent in English, Dutch is a bonus
  • To be living within easy reach of Alphen aan den Rijn - sorry but we cannot accept applicants applying from abroad.
Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Engineer supports the Manufacturing Officer in the development and execution of new and existing production processes. The work split is 50:50 engineering& work preparation (office) and production (workfloor).

This person has the following qualities:

  • Curiosity for new technologies, enjoys working with their hands and likes to have space to experiment

The main tasks and performance areas of the function is as follows:

  • Work preparation: producing and implementing test/manufacturing procedures
  • Lead in composite production, particularly vacuum infusion
  • 3D CAD engineering
  • Support and eventual lead in all new processes Curve Works is developing with their adaptive mould technology and robot platform
  • Hands-on support in other production processes
  • Support quotations for the Sales team
  • Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency, quality and safety
