Position: Compositor, Sr.

Location: Santa Monica, CA (On-Site)

• Pay Range: $64.62 - $96.92 USD Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY:

Company 3 currently has openings for a project hire Compositor, Sr. to work on projects within our VFX department. This position will be located in Santa Monica.
The perfect candidate needs to be a dependable, team player with a great attitude, and be flexible with our fast turnarounds. They will work closely with the Compositing Supervisor and VFX Producer in achieving the highest creative and technical standards of work.

• Will be responsible for challenging shots.
• Seamlessly integrate the various layers or elements of a live-action shot.
• Strong ability to tackle shots from start to finish, including roto, tracking, paint, animation, and creation of elements, etc.
• Matte extractions from blue/green screen photography.
• Good attention to detail, sense of color, colorspace, and lighting.
• Composite Multi-Pass CG Elements to create photo-real shots.
• Clean and efficient script organization.
• Communicate progress of work to Coordinator and Producer in a timely fashion.
