Description
Accurately weigh and pack orders in respective containers according to instructions. Operate all scales to weigh the product for packing. Utilize company labeling procedures for packing and repacking orders and stock materials, including the immediate destruction of extra labels. Operate department pumps, filters, scales and computer systems to perform work tasks. Take samples from raw materials and finished products for testing, while adhering to Quality Control requirements. Ensure safe operation of forklift, drum handling equipment and Big Joe Lift. Follow inspection procedures for all containers prior to filling. Ensure proper storage of materials by following storage requirements for storage racks, freezers, cold and hot boxes. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum two years' experience within a chemical/food/perfumery manufacturing facility Minimum two years' experience mixing and handling of chemicals against a recipe Knowledge of G.M. P's (Good Manufacturing Practices) Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) Pass respirator fit test as required by OSHA Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day Frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold) Must have the ability to operate a forklift
