Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * To compound all varieties of bulk                                     * Weigh chemicals accurately * Return unused chemicals to proper location after use             * Make adjustments to batches as per the lab or manufacturing supervisor * Take samples to lab in a timely fashion * Documentation of the following: * Lot #'s on batch sheet * Locations on batch sheet for each raw material * Enter batch into the log on the computer * Assign lot # for the batch * Record actual usage on batch sheet                                     * Report spills or mistakes immediately to your supervisor                                * Report all faulty and broken equipment to your supervisor             * Locate incoming raw materials when required and document * Wash and clean tanks when required * Update work in progress board as needed * Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or another manger * All employees are responsible for safety quality * All employees are responsible to report safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action  Qualifications Competencies: * Able to lift 5 lbs. to 35 lbs. * Must speak, read and write English * Ability to follow chemical batch sheets * Maintain fast work pace * Flexible working hours Education and/or Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalent * 2 years of experience in a similar role Compensation and Benefits: * New starting wage is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour* (commensurate with experience and location). * *Note that rate could change based on shift schedule. * Medical, Vision and Dental Coverage * Health Spending Account * Life and Dependent Insurance * Accidental Death and Dismemberment * Short Term Disability * Long Term Disability * Travel Assistance * Voluntary Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) * Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
