Description:
JOB OVERVIEW
Full time / part time experienced pharmacy technician (or assistant) with specialty compounding experience required. No Evenings, No weekends. Willing to work between 2 stores.
Qualifications :-
· Knowledge of Kroll software. Specialty Compounding Experience is a must :-
- Compounding non-sterile medications following established standard operating procedures. This includes but is not limited to making:
- Tablets, Capsules, Suspension, Suppositories, Chews, Transdermal gels
- Maintaining inventories of supplies necessary for compounding
- Operating a range of compounding equipment
- Completing all required documentation
- Regular cleaning of workstation and equipment
Blister packaging experience.· Excellent communication skills.· Ability to work in a busy environment.· Leadership and management skills.· Excellent work ethic.· Hard worker, efficient, reliable and multitask skills.· Demonstrated customer service experience.· Proficient computer/data/entry skills.· Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
Experience:
- pharmacy: 5 years (required
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Managing the compounding lab.
- Maintain inventory by ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Process prescription orders and manage patient records efficiently.
- Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care outcomes.
