SUMMARY: Primary job functions is to weigh dry and liquid components that produce Organosols (QSP #10) and Predispersions (QSP #06) to meet scheduled requirements in accordance with Safety and Quality Standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ability to follow written Q.S.P’S and S.O.P’S that apply to the Job Requirement. Use manual and digital scales and common measuring devices in order to weigh materials such as pigments, plasticizers, stabilizers, polyvinylchloride, DIBK and xylene. Handling Hazardous Waste and following procedures. Operate and maintain 3 Roll Milling Equipment. Filter organosols for impurities using Pump and Canister Filtration Equipment. Transport material into and out of the work area. Clean pumps, tanks and other equipment used in the Compounding Processes. Requirements PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Must be self-motivated, independent worker, team player and detail oriented. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and skilled at weights and measures. Six months of previous manufacturing and forklift experience. Pay Transparency The current pay rate for this position is $20.75 per hour. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will.
