Description
The Comprehensive Scheduler II has a broad range of scheduling expertise across TFP and Hospital Systems. Primary focus is to schedule continuity appointments during the check-out process to ensure patients have the appointments needed and are not lost to follow-up. Scheduling will be focused on those referrals that are common to the department that they support. Serves as in house registration expert. While physically residing in the practice the majority of the time, also may be housed centrally, based on the needs of the referrals coming in and the expertise to schedule. CST II is part of the central Comprehensive Team and reports to the Manager, Comprehensive Scheduling. The scheduler works with their Manager, CST to build relationships with administration and outside scheduling / messaging vendors. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare related program Preferred Experience 1 year experience in an internal (TUHS) physician out-patient practice setting performing registration and scheduling tasks Required General Experience with the TFP scheduling system and EPIC Required Licenses
