We are seeking a highly skilled Compute Performance Developer Technology Engineer to drive innovation in high-performance computing, scientific computing, and artificial intelligence. In this role, you will collaborate with application experts, develop optimized algorithms, and contribute to reference codes and libraries that maximize performance across CPU, GPU, and network architectures. You will work closely with globally distributed engineering and research teams, influencing next-generation software and hardware design. The role demands strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to solve complex performance challenges while guiding developers to achieve optimal results. \n Accountabilities: Collaborate directly with domain experts to understand computational challenges and develop optimized solutions. Design, implement, and optimize core parallel algorithms and data structures for high-performance applications. Develop and contribute to reference codes, libraries, and tools to accelerate software performance. Partner with cross-functional teams including architecture, research, system software, libraries, and product management to improve platform capabilities. Influence design decisions for next-generation architectures and programming models based on application performance insights. Provide guidance and mentorship to key application developers on performance optimization techniques. Requirements: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a computational science field, or equivalent experience (10+ years preferred). Expertise in C/C++ and/or Fortran, with a solid understanding of software design, programming techniques, and algorithms. Hands-on experience with parallel programming frameworks such as MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, and/or OpenACC. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to work with global teams and guide application developers. Fluency in French and French citizenship is required.
