JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Computer and Information Systems Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, aligning IT initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and optimizing system performance.
Location: Kearneysville, WV, Memphis, TN, Lanham, MD, and Ogden, UT

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Current CISCO™ Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or current CISCO™ Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in network engineering, design, and implementation.
  • Experience in enterprise-level networks, including data centers, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale WAN/LAN setups.
  • Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting network protocols, such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
  • Project management experience leading or working on network-related projects, including design, upgrades, or troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee network engineering, design, and implementation efforts across enterprise-level networks, including data centers, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale WAN/LAN setups.
  • Manage and troubleshoot network protocols, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
  • Lead project management efforts, including network-related projects, upgrades, and troubleshooting, ensuring delivery milestones and support continuity.
  • Collaborate on cloud architectural design, analysis, migration, and implementation, across public, private, and hybrid environments.
  • Contribute to enhancing, optimizing, administering, and analyzing cloud hosting infrastructures, leveraging virtualization, automation, and orchestration technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS security protocols, including FISMA, NIST 800-53, and IRS-specific guidelines.
  • Provide leadership ability, strategic planning skills, and technical mastery to manage and optimize highly complex networks.
  • Support design, development, and implementation of high-availability architectures, including logical redundancy and failover mechanisms.
  • Participate in all stages of the System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) and apply industry-leading practices based on ISO, ITIL, and NIST standards.
  • Support incident response and troubleshooting as an escalation point for Tier 2/3 issues and provide root cause analysis for outages.
