• Must be capable of independently diagnosing and repairing computer hardware issues, including but not limited to:
• Identifying common hardware failures, such as:
• Power supply failure, inability to start, or unstable power
• Motherboard short circuits, bulging capacitors, burnt circuits
• Incorrect jumper or switch connections causing motherboard unresponsiveness
• Troubleshooting issues like black screens, blue screens, no display, system boot failures, and computers that won’t power on
• Skilled in replacing and repairing computer hardware, including:
• Display screens (LCD replacement)
• Memory modules, hard drives, graphics cards, power supplies, motherboards, and other common components
• Basic soldering and repair of faulty components (e.g., capacitors, resistors, connectors, simple circuit repairs)
• Familiar with the internal structure and disassembly/reassembly processes of both desktop and laptop computers
• Strong hands-on skills and analytical ability to quickly identify and resolve hardware problems
