What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues across computers, laptops, printers, networks, and other IT equipment.
  • Setting up, configuring, maintaining, and supporting computer systems and networks.
  • Helping customers and staff with their IT questions and providing guidance when they need it.
  • Installing software, updates, and system improvements to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Assisting with the implementation and ongoing management of IT systems and technology.
  • Working with suppliers and external service providers when specialist support or equipment is required.
  • Keeping accurate records of IT equipment, jobs, and support activities.
  • Building good relationships with our customers and making sure they receive reliable, friendly, and professional support.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with solid hands-on IT experience who can confidently troubleshoot and work through problems.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Experience working as an IT Technician, Computer Technician, or in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and macOS, computer hardware, software, networking, and common IT systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and a genuine willingness to help people.
  • The ability to explain technical issues in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
  • The confidence to work on your own while also being a team player.
  • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications, or strong practical experience.
  • A willingness to keep learning and take on new technologies and skills.
