Job Title: Computer Network and Systems Engineer

**Position Overview:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Computer Network and Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, integrity, and security of in-house and cloud-based network services and systems while optimizing the performance of networks and system resources.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Computer Network and Systems Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and system administration.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or other networking equipment.
- Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of network security concepts and tools (e.g., IDS/IPS, firewalls, encryption).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of SD-WAN and modern networking solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement secure and scalable computer networks for both LAN and WAN environments.
- Evaluate business requirements to determine suitable network architecture solutions.
- Configure and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
