Description

Looking to hire a talented CNC Machinist to join our growing team of skilled Machinists. The ideal CNC Machinist is proficient in operating CNC mills and is familiar with programming and parameter setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Journeyperson Machinist Certification is preferred.
  • One to two years’ work experience with CNC machining on Fanuc G code.
  • One to two years’ work experience with CNC machining on milling machines.
  • Proficient in programming, setting up, and operating Okuma CNC mills.
  • Proficient and familiar in G code programming.
  • Good knowledge of various materials such as stainless steels, super alloys, and so on.
  • Familiar with various of machining tools and machining methods.
  • Ability to setup quickly and efficiently.
  • Able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 23 kg/50 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Plans machining process (Such as studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications).
  • Daily route of set-ups and operating mills, verifies first-run parts, and monitors dimensions, and operations over the job run.
  • Program CNC mills by utilizing G-Code.
  • Make suggestions and implements creative solutions for fixtures, jigs, and tooling for efficient machining operations.
  • Thoroughly inspects finished parts with various measuring tools and completes inspection report.
  • Safely maintain operations via adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Ensure work area cleanliness and good housekeeping routines.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
