Monitoring of computer consoles. Monitoring execution of scheduled batch jobs. Investigating possible causes of prolonged execution of jobs or unreleased/pending jobs. Investigating possible causes of premature termination of batch jobs. Resolving production problems in coordination with applications support. Restaging jobs that encountered problems. Maintaining logs of operations activities and encountered production problems. Assists Batch Operations Track Lead / Shift Supervisor by: Reviewing and executing batch processing changes due to new system implementations. Recommending enhancements for a faster and more efficient batch processing. Writing/updating unix/shell scripts.

Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting batch processing operations and resolving production problems in coordination with application support. Tasks include executing batch changes, maintaining operation logs, and writing Unix/shell scripts for efficiency.
