We are looking for a Computer Operator III in San Diego, California. SUMMARY: Provide professional computer operator services assist NIWC Pacific Security Support Services. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for running computer operations as well as ensuring that computer systems and hardware are in good working order. Tasks include maintaining work order schedules, inputting commands into computer terminals, performing routine maintenance and installing software updates. Prepares and operate computer hardware systems to process business, scientific, engineering, or other data, according to operating instructions. Observes the operation of computers which include, but are not limited to, mainframes, minicomputers, DN Networks of personal computers, ensuring usage as efficiently as possible. Controls the console and sets controls require to run particular jobs. Requirements 4-6 years of experience Experience with JPAS/DISS/NBIS Secret Security Clearance-Required Experience issuing CAC cards preferred This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
