KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role (retail, repairs, or IT support)
  • Strong sales ability with proven track record in tech sales
  • Solid repair skills (phones, laptops, PCs) — board-level experience is a huge plus
  • Detail-focused with pride in workmanship
  • Familiarity with POS, ticketing, or repair tracking systems
  • Reliable, approachable, and able to work independently
  • Flexibility to move between shop, workshop, and on-site support
  • Full clean driving licence is a bonus
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a driven, hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This is a hybrid role that combines:

  • Retail sales (phones, laptops, accessories)
  • Technical repairs (smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs)
  • IT support exposure (supporting our MSP team on business client sites and helpdesk tasks)

You’ll spend time on the shop floor, in the repair workshop, and occasionally on client sites, giving you a well-rounded role with genuine growth opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right solutions
  • Confidently sell tech products and services
  • Diagnose and carry out repairs on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and PCs
  • Perform modular repairs (screens, batteries, charging ports, etc.)
  • Level 2–3 repairs (micro soldering, board-level work) are a strong advantage
  • Provide Level 1 IT helpdesk support to MSP clients (full training provided)
  • Assist with business client installations, setups, and on-site support when required
  • Prepare devices for resale (testing, wiping, cleaning, grading)
  • Assist with stock intake, labelling, and merchandising
  • Keep sales/repairs tracked in our POS and repair systems
  • Maintain a tidy, professional workspace and deliver a top-class customer experience
