Founded in 2000, we employ forty plus individuals and have an established customer base of approximately 1200 businesses. We are a customer service oriented, full-service technology company focusing on information technology systems and networks, low-voltage structured cabling and fiber optics, phone systems, surveillance camera systems, and door access systems. We are looking for a Computer Systems Administrator to help our company grow and better serve our customers.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • First and foremost, our Computer Systems Administrator must achieve outstanding customer satisfaction.

  • Technicians must have top notch technical skills and knowledge in computing and network systems.
  • Technicians will develop detailed technical solutions and architects complex systems with minimal supervision.
  • An advanced degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • At least three (3) years IT experience.
  • The ability to drive to client locations (must have a clean driving record and valid license), work inside & outside, physically navigate the work environment, using a 6-foot ladder, and consistently lift 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through attentive service and effective problem-solving.
  • Windows Desktop administration and troubleshooting, including application install and setup, patching, networking, and version/edition upgrades.
  • Configure firewalls, network switches, and wireless access points with required network services to serve moderately complex needs.
  • Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex Windows servers including Active Directory, file and print sharing, Remote Desktop Services, backups, applications.
  • Knowledge and understanding cloud file sharing and collaboration tools
  • Understanding of cyber security tools, and IT best practices
  • Foster seamless collaboration and communication across all departmental teams and members to optimize workflow and achieve shared goals.
  • Proposes, manages, and implements moderately complex projects and systems with minimal supervision.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and repairs computer/server hardware issues, applications and operating systems.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and repairs network and email issues.
  • Installs, configures, maintains and repairs VoIP & PBX phone systems, and networks.
  • Performs and verifies computer/server backups.
  • Performs server administration and maintenance.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and repairs smartphones and tablet devices.
  • Documents work and network configurations.
  • Achieves 60-75% average billable productivity and enters billable time daily.
  • Assist service desk technicians as an escalation resource.
  • May perform application training.
  • Regular shift on service help desk
