Description POSITION SUMMARY The Computer System Analyst will be responsible for supporting assigned applications for clinical, administrative, and financial systems, to include troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution. The Computer System Analyst may lead, or support project management activities required to deliver business -oriented, valuable, and relevant solutions. The primary focus is partnering with customers to acquire necessary understanding of business objectives and processes and to investigate new uses of existing data and systems to achieve competitive advantage and to implement technology changes to achieve short and long-term business goals. In this role, the Computer System Analyst will provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all company computer users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step by step solutions in an open and high energy environment. He/she will clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner, and provide one-on-one user training as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Champions initiatives to develop, improve, and resolve issues with critical processes and technologies. Monitor the Information Systems ticketing application for same day response to ticket requests related to job function. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment and end-user workstations and related hardware and software in order to deliver required desktop service levels. Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to end-user workstations, telephony and peripherals. Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures Analyzes application performance and takes approved action to correct deficiencies; researches, analyzed, and reports bugs found by users or by self-conduced testing; interacts with vendor technical support to resolve issues; works directly with administrators and users on application/technical problem identification, resolution, and root cause analysis. Performs application administration ranging in complexity from small, in-house application to enterprise-class purchased application; this may include some system administration tasks; monitors application use and performance; maintains and supports applications; develops, tests, and implements approved changes; evaluates interrelationships and integration between applications. Manages the receipt and flow of data received from outside entities that are imported into the assigned system; exports data to outside entities and responds to their requests. Monitors and evaluates the user of application; collects user feedback and recommends enhancements or modification to applications. Collaborates with customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options for new work requests. Performs assigned tasks to assist with incident resolution; supports others in the troubleshooting and resolution process; executes steps to resolve issues and documents appropriately. Understands process improvement initiatives; provides suggestions for improvements based on daily work; provides feedback and technical suggestions for improved processes using a team approach; provides technical and/or functional leadership for process improvement efforts. Consults with managers to determine the role of IT systems, design and implement the new systems and oversee the installation of the new systems. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: Ability to project a professional Image Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, expert knowledge of Windows Operating Systems Strong troubleshooting skills are required as well as extensive experience supporting different virtualized environments not limited to VMware and Microsoft Hypervisor. Knowledge of operating standard office equipment Good interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail Time management skills Freedom from use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree Required; plus 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None LANGUAGE SKILLS English is the primary language of the facility.
