Description
Information Technology Services Centre Computer Technician II The appointee will join the System Operation and Administration team of the Administrative Systems Services. Duties include (a) supporting project migration and deployment for applications; (b) installing, configuring, and upgrading computer hardware and software; (c) diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues; (d) administering user accounts and access permissions; and (e) performing shift duties as scheduled. Applicants should have (i) a Higher Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; (ii) previous work experience in system administration of application software, servers and databases; and (iii) a self-motivated and mature work attitude. Having work experience in the following areas will be an added advantage: (1) Microsoft Windows Servers, RedHat Linux Servers, Microsoft SQL Servers; (2) Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and services; and (3) emerging AI technologies including intelligent document processing, AI-driven automation, and Azure OpenAI integration. Fresh graduates who demonstrate strong technical knowledge and enthusiasm for system administration are also welcome to apply. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
