We are seeking a skilled Computer Technician to support the setup, maintenance, and deployment of computer systems for a large-scale operations environment. This role involves preparing systems for imaging, installing software, performing quality checks, managing inventory, and shipping equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to ensure smooth logistics, accurate asset tracking, and timely delivery of systems. This is an on-site position that requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to handle physical tasks. Candidates will also provide basic deskside and remote support as needed. The ideal professional is proactive, organized, and enjoys contributing to a team-oriented environment. Accountabilities: Prepare computer systems for imaging and configure them with required software. Perform quality checks on systems before deployment. Package and ship equipment to operational centers efficiently and safely. Receive incoming shipments and update asset management and inventory records. Manage inventory using barcode scanners and database applications. Provide deskside and remote technical support for employees as needed. Collaborate with service managers to address logistic and technical requests. Active Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain it. Ability to complete IRS Minimum Background Investigation or eligibility to clear it. Basic computer support skills, including system sanitization procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with inventory management technology and database applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle physical tasks such as packing, lifting, and shipping equipment. Proactive team player with attention to detail and organizational skills.
