About the Role PCs for People is seeking a dedicated Computer Technician to join our operations team. This hands-on role supports our core mission by ensuring donated computers are refurbished, repaired, and restored to peak condition for community use. Key Responsibilities Computer Repair Repair, refurbish, and upgrade donated desktops and laptops, including disassembly, reassembly, and hardware replacement Perform computer troubleshooting, repairs, and hard drive sanitization Image computers using disk imaging and automated operating system installation tools Load and unload computer equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace Conduct quality control (QC) checks on hard drives and ensure proper image deployment for various devices Customer Support Provide telephone technical support and customer assistance, including updating online orders Collaborate with managers to improve processes and meet daily/weekly refurbishment and KPI goals Perform additional duties as assigned What You Bring Experience with computer systems, hardware repair, and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet performance goals A passion for technology, sustainability, and digital equity Ready to make a difference while working with tech every day?
