Description We are currently searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Computer Technology Support Intern. As an Intern in our Department of Technology, you will be given real-world experience and challenging opportunities to develop and expand skills needed in computer repair, support, computer science, or related fields. The position will work 15-20 hours per week. Responsibilities: Setting up Windows PC hardware and software. Summer servicing of projectors, digital cameras, scanners, printers and network copiers. Unboxing new computer hardware (iPads, Chromebooks, Desktop/Laptop computers). Applying inventory tags on new equipment. Moving and deploying equipment across the school campus. Assisting other technology staff as necessary. Requirements Currently enrolled as a college student pursuing a degree. Ability to lift 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Lots of energy, a sense of humor, and a desire to learn and grow. A self-starter who is accountable and able to effectively work in an office environment. Candidates should be willing and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
The intern will assist with setting up Windows PC hardware and software, as well as servicing various office and classroom equipment. They will also be responsible for unboxing new hardware, applying inventory tags, and deploying equipment across the campus.
