DESCRIPTION

As a CV/ML engineer, you will develop new technologies for Apple’s next generation products. The focus will be innovating and delivering effective, efficient and well-tested computer vision based solutions from prototyping to shipping that are often deployed on Apple’s consumer devices. Besides domain expertise and technical knowledge the ideal candidate will possess the self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative to achieve those goals. Analogously, the candidate is a lifelong learner who passionately seeks to improve themselves and the quality of their work. You will work together with similar minds in an outstanding team where your skills and expertise can be used to influence future user experiences and hardware that will be used by millions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background in machine learning and deep learning.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience using ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience in areas like biometrics, object detection, landmark detection, and semantic segmentation.
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of modern deep learning techniques such as vision transformers, encoder-decoder architectures and multi-modality.
  • Solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra and probability theory.
  • Understanding of classical image processing and 3D computer vision fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems.
  • MS or PhD in related field.
