DAILY ACTIVITIES AS AN ENGINEER

• Design and improve object detection and multi-camera tracking algorithms
• Solve challenges with occlusion, lighting, and item recognition in real-world store environments
• Optimize inference for edge devices (e.g., Jetson AGX, Orin)
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into our Kafka-Firebase architecture
• Experiment with spectral/thermal imaging and synthetic data techniques to boost model robustness
• Push the limits of real-time inference on resource-constrained systems
