Description

We are looking for an ambitious and talented machine-learning developer to join our growing Current AI team! As part of this new initiative from Current Scientific, you will be working on the cutting edge of hardware and AI technology. Your primary responsibility will be contributing to the core computer vision of Current AI. The ideal candidate has a solid software background, experience with both machine-learned and classical computer vision, and strong mathematics skills. If you enjoy pushing the limits of what is possible, excel in the unique and unexplored, and want to help build a real product that brings real value to real people, you’ll want to apply!

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar
  • 3+ years of software experience, especially in applied ML
  • Python
  • ML frameworks, libraries and tools (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Classical computer vision (e.g. OpenCV)
  • Linux command line
  • Work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
  • Written and oral communication in English
Responsibilities
  • Continuously train, evaluate, and deploy computer vision ML models in response to new data
  • Create novel vision algorithms using classical and ML computer vision techniques
  • Optimize code for latency and maintainability
  • Inform data collection and annotation processes
  • Create and integrate with internal/external APIs
  • Set up ML tooling
  • Review and document code
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI, especially in computer vision
