Come make an impact every day at Zebra. The Computer Vision Software Developer II will work on Computer Vision projects turning Zebra's algorithms from prototypes to high quality product ready code. The developer will design an implement strategies for optimizing computer vision algorithms for different hardware architectures(e.g. x86, GPU, multi-core ARM CPU, DSP) based on performance, power and size constraints.Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Responsibilities: Implement computer vision algorithms into high quality production ready code Design and provide strategies for optimizing computer vision algorithms for different embedded systems and mobile devices Participate and provide input in project code reviews Receive general instructions to routine work, new projects or assignments Design and/or review architected modules and software systems supporting new technology or improving capability/performance of existing functionality Take responsibility for communicating with different engineers (embedded systems, backend server, computer vision) to continuously improve and optimize implemented algorithms Create automated software tests and provide support to trouble shoot software issues when needed Documentation of software architecture Qualifications: 2-5 years work experience Strong C, C++11 and above programming skills Very good understanding of algorithms and data structures At least basic understanding of image processing and computer vision Optimal: Parallelized & vectorized computation Nice to have: Optimization experience on PC or embedded platforms Very good would be any expereince with Barcode scanning Zebra Total Rewards includes more than just pay and is structured to meet the needs of our changing global business and evolving talent. Salary range: 10 000,00 PLN - 16 000,00 PLN per month Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
