REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Computing or related field
• PGCE qualification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

• Previous experience teaching computing at the college level
• Strong knowledge of current computing principles and practises
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
• Punctuality and professionalism in all aspects of work
• Inspirational teaching style that motivates and engages students
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Passionate about educating and empowering students

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Computing or related field
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Additional teaching certifications or qualifications

• Deliver engaging and informative computing lectures to students
• Develop and update curriculum in line with industry trends
• Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve academic success
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments and exams
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities
